tonight we made a fruit and vegetable antioxidant medley. we could have added more stuff, but these ingredients are what we had on hand.
- we used: two bunches of romaine lettuce, one bunch of parsley, one pack of blueberries, two apples, and some my mini-carrots. we are out of garlic, but a bit of that would have been great.
- we washed everything really well and pureed it all. then poured it into a large mixing bowl. mixed it up real good. if it's too thick, just add a little water. i think the "juicier" the mix is, the easier it is for dogs to digest all of the nutrients.
- we're going to serve it as a sidedish with meat, poultry, cottage cheese, yogurt, oats, etc.
- freeze the leftovers in small containers, and defrost as needed.

tonight, while chopping fruit & veggies, we got to test out our new wooden cutting board from Fallen Tree Designs. it's really nice, i was afraid to mess it up, but it handled my, not so excellent, chopping skills, and cleaned up real nice. isn't is beautiful? such excellent handcraftmanship!
